Updated: Mar 18, 2022

Funding is now available from the East Midlands Councils for people who want to become teachers of English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL).

East Midlands Councils are looking to fund applicants who want to teach English to speakers of other languages who are based within the East Midlands and who have either, been resettled under a refugee resettlement programme, individuals who claimed asylum and received a positive decision on their asylum or UASC care leavers or BNO visa holders.

Applicants do not have to be fluent in English to apply. We have courses to suit a range of abilities from intermediate (E3) to advenced.
